With the weather getting colder, it’s easier to put off going to the gym. If you can’t make a class or don’t want to run in the freezing temperatures, try this simple circuit. It will get your heart rate up while giving your muscles a workout. Try to do each activity with great form for 1 minute.

Repeat as many as 4 times talking a 1-2 minute water break in between sets.

  1. mountain climbers
  2. pushups
  3. alternating lunges with dumbbell bicep curl
  4. burpees or squat thrusts
  5. both arm dumbbell row – focus on squeezing between your back
  6. squat jumps
  7. overhead shoulder press with squat
  8. sit down, stand up – repeat (so much harder than you would think)
  9. tricep dips on a chair or step
  10. jumping jacks – big moves

I was making dinner yesterday and look who just came by for a visit. Anna loved it. You would think we lived way out in the country but that’s not the case – just our pet deer.
