Tonight was the night of trick or treat,
So we dressed up warm and covered our feet.
Kids came by to get some candy,
And Anna thought things were just fine and dandy.
Then it got colder and she started to fade,
No more smile, or giggle or laughter was made.
Until her friend Meg, the cow came to play,
And they both wondered “what is up with this day?”
Following that we went down the street,
A soccer play was who we were hoping to meet.
We did not look hard, he was playing his game,
So we posed for a picture near the pumpkin flame.
Then back to we went to give Grandpa a smile,
And hug Uncle Tyler, who’d been waiting a while.
That was it for our first trick or treat night,
We hope that your Halloween is just as bright!!
