I was trying to catch with you on the weekend but I think it is just not going to happen! So, we had a great weekend with a block party, wine party, bachelorette party, lots of friend time, new friends meeting Anna, runs, library trip and much more!
One thing I did over the weekend was try a new green smoothie. Anna thought it looked delicious!
I used the things that Americas Nutrition sent me to try out! They have an easy to use website with many things on it.
I had never tried Muscle Milk Light so I thought it might me good. I am not a huge protein person, but I don’t mind it. This has a great cookies and cream flavor. I think when this is gone, we will be buying some more. I also found it is good to mix a little in some plain yogurt!
And I put a scoop of this in my smoothie. It is similar to wheatgrass but made from barley.
The smoothie was great and contained:
- 1 c. almond breeze
- 4 ice cubes
- 1 tsp. green magma
- 1 handful organic baby spinach
- 1 scoop cookies and cream Muscle Milk light
- 1small handful of frozen berries
i love cookies & cream anything! i made cookies & cream protein ice cream last week and have been dreaming about it since.
Smoothie aside – what a doll she is!!!
So wonderful to finally meet miss Anna! I miss her already!!
I thought for sure this was going to have some actual cookies in it!!
I guess I can let it slide since Anna is so adorable – her picture makes up for it. 🙂
I like Muscle MIlk Light, but I haven’t tried that flavor. I’ll look for it next time 🙂
I love cookies n’ cream anything as well…typically in ice cream form! I’ve never tried protein powder in my smoothies before–do you find that it improves your runs/workouts?
