We are ready for Christmas! The countdown is on! Last night, we had our good friend John and Ashley over for cookie baking, wine, Christmas beer, and football! We also got into the WII Tetris, which I am OBSESSED with!! We must have played 20 games.
We ate a quick and light dinner of:
- grilled mahi mahi
- butternut squash fries (thanks Gina The Fitnessista! )
- salad with veggies apples and pecans
Then we got on to cookie baking!!
We made:
– Mexican Wedding Cakes (those white balls)
– PB Kiss cookies
– Biscotti (chocolate and almond/cranberry)

in my family we make the same (mexican wedding cookies) cookies except we call them pecan balls – it’s a recipe from my great grandmom… i never knew that name for them until last year!
