Back from a busy weekend full of family, friends and tons of wonderful food! We had a great time running all over the place and just enjoying this wonderful time of year!
I took pictures of a lot of things, but decided after reading everyone great Thanksgiving posts, that I will just move on instead of going backwards. It seems like I am hardly going to be able to keep up with everything we have going on right now, and there just isn’t time to go backwards. š I hope/think you understand!
I just wanted to remind you to send me or comment about your favorite holiday tip, recipe or idea and you will have a chance to win one of the three gift baskets full of great kitchen tools and treats from Progresso!
I will be back with pictures of our holiday decorating and dinner!!
No worries!! I understand completely, my friend/fellow Ohioan š
A holiday tip:
When I have a party coming up, I always lay out the buffet table a day or two ahead, with all the serving dishes. I mark what will go in each dish with a little card, folded like a tent. This way, I have a place for everything, and it is all organized, and the little cards let people know what they are eating. Also, when people drop in on the day of the party and want to help, I can hand them things to put on the table, and they will be able to know where things should go.
Thanks for the contest.
Here’s a festive recipe out of Harry Potter: Pumpkin Pasties! First you mix up the filling for a pumpkin pie, but instead of pouring it in a pie crust, pour it in a baking dish and bake for an hour. Then, make pie crust. Roll out the crust and cut into circles 5 inches in diameter (I use a round tupperware I have that’s perfect as a cutter!). Spoon a bit of the filling into the center of the crust, fold the top over to make a half-moon, and seal the edges by pressing them together with a fork. Cut two or three slits in the top with a knife and bake for 15-20 minutes at 350. These are great as a dessert or for breakfast (although I don’t know how healthy they are).
Very good facts here, This is what iām trying to find. thanks, i’ve bookmark your web-site.
