My mom came over with a bag filled with tasty dinner ingredients tonight. In her bag she had naan (leavened, oven-baked flatbread), fresh tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, grilled veggies and a giant salad. All I need to supply was the pesto and the grapes for our fruit serving. It made for a perfect dinner.
Naan Pizza
- 3-4 pieces of naan bread
- pesto or tomato sauce
- fresh grilled veggies
- cheese (we used fresh mozzarella but brie or feta would be great too)
- sliced tomatoes
- any other toppings of choice (Brady covered his with hot sauce)
- Lay your naan on a cookie sheet and spread a thin layer of pesto or tomato sauce
- Cover with toppings and a few pieces of cheese
- Bake at 425 for 8-10 minutes or until bread is crunchy and cheese is melted
- Serve with salad and wine.
Now, we are off to tackle this mess. Can you guess what it is going to be when if we ever finish?
