Today flew by and was I accomplished a lot. I did not workout this morning. I don’t want to burn out on my morning workouts and doing three mornings a week should be enough for now. So I got up at 6am instead of 5am and did some things around the house before school. I took breakfast in the car because somehow I wasted enough time to be almost late. I took Fiber One and Kashi 7 grain with skim milk and a banana. It was great.
Lunch was a leftover spaghetti squash with veggies, greek yogurt with frozen blueberries and fiber one.
School went fast and then I ran errands on the way home. When I finally got home, around 5pm, I could not wait to get my running shoes on and go! I ran about 4.5 miles and it was so beautiful outside! The perfect temp. and not a cloud in the sky. Brady was home when I got home and so we ran a few more errands: returning lib. books, oil change for my car…etc.
By the time we ate dinner at 7:45pm I was starving!!! I had marinated some salmon in soy,garlic, ginger so it was ready for Brady to throw on the grill. While he was grilling, I made a salad and some Kashi pilaf (which I am now obsessed with!) and broccoli/kale stir fry. Then… I chowed down!
Hooray for a productive day!
Ooh, I picked up some of that kashi pilaf and can’t wait to give it a try !!
