Yum! This dish that Brady’s dad made for us the other night was amazing! I can’t wait to make it, hopefully it will be as good! The recipe below is just an estimation because I didn’t get the exact measurements! Let me know if you try it. Have you ever tried making fish soup?
Salmon Chowder
- 2-3 servings of salmon (broiled until cooked all the way).
- 5-8 cups chicken broth
- 3-4 large carrots cut into pieces
- 1-2 onions, diced
- 3-4 stalks of celery, cut into peces
- 1 can of corn, drained
- 1 can of peas, drained
- 10 small red skin potatoes, cut into pieces
- 1 Tbsp. EVOO
- spices: Old Bay, Garlic, Seasoned Salt
- Broil salmon until cooked. If there is skin on the salmon, remove and discard it.
- Simmer onion, celery and carrots until softened in a large soup pot.
- Add broth, salmon, peas, corn and potatoes.
- Add in spices according to your liking
- Simmer until cooked together.
- Enjoy with a glass of Kendall Jackson Pinot Noir!
