Today was a great Monday! My morning started off with a trip to the doctor’s office for my glucose test. I had to drink a 12 oz. bottle of orange sugar juice before getting my blood drawn. Then I headed to the gym for a sweaty 50 minute cardio workout. I did 30 minutes on the step mill then 20 minutes walking hills on the treadmill.

I came home to a great lunch of Flat Out wraps with hummus and veggies. After lunch Brady and I put together a weight set he got. We are turning our garage into a workout room. This set is pretty impressive. It is a big pulley system with weights and a bar. I will be using it this summer when I need to get my body back.

After it was put together we ran out to run some errands. We did returns and went to Brady’s parents for dinner. We had a great salmon dinner (the salmon was similar to a great broiled salmon recipe from Eating Well magazine) with bean soup and salad. It was perfect! I took lots of fun pictures of it, but they would not load right. They should be up by tomorrow. 🙁

Monday: done!

Tuesday: dinner with Jody and Jen at Northstar Cafe – Brady has a 8pm soccer game and is having leftovers for dinner

Wednesday: use up the pantry special!

Thursday: use up the pantry special!

Friday: Dinner with John and Ashley at ? or here!

Saturday: Neighborhood block party – we are bringing appetizers!

So much for a detailed menu plan…sorry. I should have more details tomorrow but I am exhausted! I think it may have been the workout or the thought of the week ahead.
