It’s been a week since we started December Detox and it’s time for a recap.
1. Water + Limiting Alcohol
As for drinking lots of water, this is something I am used to doing and can’t live without so I drank at least a gallon on most days. There is always room for reminders though! As for wine, I held off this week. How did you do?
2. Exercise.
My week was pretty full of exercise and I kept it going all week.
Monday: taught 60 min. spin
Tues: Taught BOSU Interval class
Wed: Taught 60 minute spin, 30 min. core and 30 min. circuit classes
Thurs: Jog 2.5 miles
Friday: Taught Interval class
Sat: 5 mile Run
Sun: off
3. Cooking Whole Foods.
I did great on this from Monday – Thursday. Friday night I had way too many sweets which left me feeling blah. I ran Saturday morning and was on track all day until Saturday night when I dove into the desserts again. I think my need for sweets has finally subsided and should be gone for the week. At least it wasn’t like that all week! Desserts = Reason to Run.
4. Boycotting Nut Butter:
This was a total success. I didn’t cheat at all. I’m impressed with myself.
5. Other Stuff:
Besides later on Friday + Saturday it was a great week. Looking back it helped me to get back on track.

Part 2 of December Detox is coming up!
For the most part I did okay. Cooked with whole foods like I usually do, and drank green smoothies. Had a hard time curbing the sweets!!!! Water intake was not as high as I would like. Also, I need to get back on the exercise train. For me it’s all or none. Exercise every day or not at all…..
