Yesterday we celebrated Emmy’s birthday! Cindy and Tom hosted a big family dinner in honor of their little peanut.
It’s hard to believe she is already one!
I made a bright pink flower cake that was double layer and filled with sweet buttercream frosting.
Anna dressed to match the party colors!
When it was time to eat, we had a kids table and a grown-ups table. It’s crazy that this little bunch can eat on their own. Alexander is the oldest (5) then Reagan (4) then Addie (3) then Anna (2) then Emmy (1) and then Avery (0 – 4months).
Lots of serious discussion going on here:
The feast was Italian – with a big green salad, a huge bowl of Rigatoni “D” (copycat recipe from Maggiano’s), caprese salad stacks and fresh garlic bread.
Before we knew it, it was time for cake!
Emerson loved having everyone sing to her.
And this group couldn’t wait until cake was served.
Luckily, Emmy had Anna to demonstrate how to eat cake and savor each bite.
And she followed right along.
Loving every moment of it!
Happy Birthday Emmy!!
