When I met Brady and his family (over 10 years ago), I knew little about Old Bay Seasoning. When I went to dinner at their house in Columbus and they set the little yellow box on the table next to the salt and pepper, I was not sure what to think. They generously sprinkled it on baked potato and corn, and I was intrigued. It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with Old Bay.
Our first summer together, I went with Brady and his family to their cousins house on the Chesapeake Bay. We sat for hours eating crab caked in Old Bay. I was hooked from then on and Old Bay is now a staple in our house.
When we have corn on the cob, I have to rescue one piece before Brady can coat them all because it is still a little spicy for Anna. We are thinking she will be ready for it by next summer when we go to Maryland.
