It’s probably every parent’s goal to make something simple, somewhat easy to clean up and healthy for their toddler. This meal fits two of those categories.

It’s simple. And it’s healthy.

It is not easy to clean up though. 🙂 Quinoa usually ends up all over the floor and egg shell, all over the table.

A little mess is worth it, though, to get all of these whole foods in that little growing body.

Healthy Toddler Meals: Lunch or Dinner

  • 1 hard boiled egg. Anna doesn’t like the yolk but she LOVES to peel the egg herself. In fact, she loves to do everything by herself. 🙂
  • Kale chips
  • Fresh avocado, diced
  • Cooked Quinoa – lots of kids love how quinoa feels in their mouth!
  • Milk + Water

I will have to post a video of her cracking and peeling the hardboiled egg – it’s hilarious!
