If you haven’t tried kale chips., you are missing out. Their crunchy, chewiness is hard to resist and they are one of the most best things you can have to fulfill your salty craving.
Preheat your oven to 450*
- Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick cookie spray.
- Cover the cookie sheet with fresh, cut kale (stems removed).
- Spray kale with olive oil spray and sprinkle with salt + pepper and nutritional yeast or parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until chips brown and become crunchy.
- Enjoy with anything! From an afternoon snack to a side dish at dinner.
So far, I have not made kale chips for anyone that didn’t like them. This includes Anna, and many non-believers. They are one of Brady’s favorites and an almost daily eat at our house!
Let me know if you want me to make you a batch!
It may sound silly, but I feel like you posted this recipe just for me. 😉 Point taken, I will buy Kale at the store this weekend and give them a go.
I love that! I did just post it for you Joanna!
🙂 How did they turn out?
I bought the kale this weekend, but haven’t made them yet. Hoping to tonight! I will let you know how it goes…
Well, I made the kale chips last night! They were by far the best way I have had kale yet. It was amazing how the texture went from chewy to crunchy in just 10 minutes. The husband is still on the fence though. Maybe I need to try cheese rather than nutritional yeast for him. I good time photographing the kale too – very pretty!
So delicious and more affordable than the packaged kind, though I love those too!
