A little of this and that:
1. Green smoothies do not look cute on little pink dresses.
2. Things like this are the reason I don’t get much done on my to-do list. If I chose to pick these up, which I didn’t – they are still sitting just like that, then that would be the 12957 time of picking them up today. Plus, Anna is very into cleaning and will enjoy “cleaning up” when she wakes up from her nap. Hopefully I won’t break my neck slipping on one before she wakes up.
3. We had fun at the Cavs game last night.
4. Anna received an adorable package in the mail from her Great Aunt Becky (Brady’s Aunt). She was so excited about the little purse and Elmo book it contained! I loved the hand-knit hat! Thanks Aunt Becky!!
5. This process is just getting under way. Now we have detailed conversations about size, time of need and frequency. Specific phone calls to discuss another person’s “number 1 and number 2” are part of everyday life.
6. If you ever come over during lunch time, be warned that I will be eating from a mixing bowl despite my abundance of dishes. You may even get the opportunity to do the same here!
7. A snack in the car does not always prevent and early nap from taking place.
8. Brady keeps a basketball (as well as golf clubs, flag football flags, football, paddle tennis rackets, a volleyball and of course a soccer ball) in the car at all times in case of spur of the moment sports competition opportunities.
9. My car constantly makes it look like we are in the process of moving at any given moment. Between the workout bag, the diaper bag, my giant purse and the slew of other things I “need” with me at all times.
10. I now realize how much pain we put our parents through during the recorder days.
Happy Hump Day!
I love Jessica from How Sweet It Is. She is down to earth, hilarious, honest and so fun to read. Not only is her food amazing, but so are her Tuesday Thoughts which include a whole lot of randomness, like this.
