For Brady’s parents birthdays this week Anna wanted to make them a present. She debated on what to make them but decided on a painting using her feet and some finger paint.

Both Brady and I were skeptical of the idea, but once I saw it on Pinterest, I knew Anna’s plan would work.

So last Sunday night, we coated her little piggies with colorful paint while she proudly sat on the counter. Brady held her in place while I pushed the canvas onto each of her feet.

The end result was pretty cute. If we had been thinking we would have used colors that went better in their house but we honestly did not think it would turn out at all. Next time, I would also have positioned the butterflies differently so we could have written a saying or something on the canvas.

Maybe we will do another one for her bedroom with pink, green and navy butterflies.

Or maybe I will put the time I spend on Pinterest to good use and find another craft!

Such an artist she is.
