I was up at 4:45 this morning to teach a 6am bootcamp class it now it feels like it’s 6pm, when really it’s only 1:46pm. So at 8:45am, which really felt like 3, I took the girls to Home Depot to check out new washers and dryers and then Target. We didn’t really need anything at Target except for new salad containers for Brady’s lunch. So we spent a good solid hour wandering picking up the one thing.
When we got home it was just about 11am and it was pouring and freezing cold. I decided it was the perfect time to channel my inner teacher and attempt a fall craft with a 1 and 2 year old. Not sure this would classify as a craft, but we had fun!
I made apples for the girls to color with their washable crayons while strapped in their seats. On second thought, there was not nearly enough mess or risk for this to be considered a real craft. But, I did get out my stencils from when I was little for Addie to play with. Addie did a great job with them but Anna just upset they were in her way
Hallie, you will be proud! 🙂
Then, to complete my teacher moment, I clearly labeled each picture with their names’.
Now, they are sleeping like babies and I am making some dinner!
Do you have a fun fall craft idea? I will have some more coming up (more interesting, I promise!) but always love new ideas!
I think I see some apple stamping coming soon! 🙂
love it 🙂
