For the past two days I have woken up at 5:45 to do an early morning workout before Brady goes to work! It’s like the old days (pre-Anna) when I used to get up and workout every morning before school. I love having my workout done before breakfast, but it’s not realistic everyday. I think I will start planning 1 – 6am workout a week.
Today I did a little cardio before I meet my Group Fitness Manager (GFM) to practice Body Pump. We have 3 months to master all of the tracks and video ourselves teaching the class. It sounds like 3 months is a long time, but it will be gone before we know it.
Yesterdays workout was an awesome treadmill run featuring two different kinds of HIIT.
It’s great for getting your heart rate going and pushing yourself!

That’s 20 minutes. After you complete that, set the treadmill to the fastest speed you can safely run at. I set mine to about 9.2. Make sure you have good sides to step onto and follow this plan.
- 20 sec. sprint
- 10 sec. step off treadmill and rest
- 20 sec. sprint
- 10 sec. rest
Continue for 4 minutes then jog for a minute and repeat.
This 30 minute workout will kick your butt!! Let me know if you try it!
Now, we are off to make cookies with Jen and Hadley for Josh’s 30th birthday! I’ll be back later today with an update on our lives. Hope you are enjoying your Friday!
