Our Thanksgiving week was a blast! Here is a brief run down of what we were up to!
Tuesday:
We headed to my parents in Chagrin Falls (Cleveland) and made it in time for dinner!
Wednesday:
I went bridesmaid dress shopping with Hallie and Emily and we found our dresses for Hallie’s wedding! We also had a great girls lunch together! While that was going on, Brady and Anna hung out at his grandparents house and visited. Then we relaxed at my parents and had dinner before making 20 lbs. of mashed potatoes.
Thursday:
We started with delicious brunch at Brady’s grandparents with his family (recipe for a yummy spinach feta quiche to come).
We brought the salad.
This is where this took place. 🙂
The food was amazing!
Then we headed to Chautauqua (2 hrs. away) for lunch at my grandma’s (dad’s mom). We got to meet new baby Hunter and Anna got to play with her cousin (my cousin’s daughter) Kendall!
Holding hands! (Like the foot in the picture…)
Then we went to dinner at my Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Carl’s (mom’s side). Yes, this is still the same day.
We were bombarded with our 3 other cousins who were ready to play!
We attempted to get them to take a picture together…
Then we tried the chair…
And one last time on the floor…
Ok, done.
We had a great dinner! The tables were festively decorated and food was delicious!
This is a squash that my aunt Marilyn grew. She dried out the skin and served the squash in it! It was very impressive!
We had the usual Thanksgiving favorites, where were all amazing! Including a tomato basil soup recipe that I will post soon!
Anna had squash, mashed potatoes and green beans – pureed and mixed together!
By the end of the day, we were exhausted! 🙂
Friday:
We hung out and the kids played then I did a Pampered Chef party at my cousin’s house. She lives in PA so we headed home after the party! It was great to meet her friends and hang out there for a while!
Saturday:
We left my parents and headed back to Columbus for the OSU v Michigan game. Some of our friends from college were coming in town to get together for the game so we didn’t want to miss them!
Alexis and Levi did a great job providing tons of food /drinks for everyone!
I think Anna was having a good time!
Sunday:
I got up and taught a CardioXtraining class. Brady was sick so he didn’t make it to Hadley’s 1st Birthday Party, but Anna and I went and had a great time. Jen did a great job with the food and decorations!
Whew. Seems like we fit a lot into the week/weekend! Now you know why I don’t have time to blog over holidays! Is anyone still reading?! 🙂
How was your Thanksgiving!

I’m exhausted just reading all of that. Whew!

Holy moly – that’s one heck of a holiday weekend!!
