Today was a great snow day! I woke up with Brady as he was getting ready for work, then he made me go back to sleep and I slept in late (9ish, late for me!!). When I woke up again, I watched some Today show, made breakfast and figured out my to do list for the day. After finding out the roads weren’t too bad, I headed to do my errands.
First stop was the gym. I did a good 45 minute workout on the elliptical, treadmill (running!! yay!) and with some light weights. Then I showered/got dressed and headed to my appointment at Apple. After finding out it would be $300 bucks to fix my cd drive, I went on a mission for Brady’s b-day gifts. I had pretty good luck!
Then I stopped at JoAnn Fabrics for some baby project materials. I came home STARVING. It was already 4pm and I hadn’t eaten lunch. I chowed down some sprouted toast with veggies and got started on my projects. I will post my creations soon. 🙂 Let me just say that cooking is much easier than sewing. Turns out you need to be a perfectionist to sew things so they look professional – I think I will stick to cooking. I do like how you have a finished product you can keep (instead of inhaling your finished product) when you are done!
I started dinner when Brady was on his way home. I had planned to make pulled pork in the slow cooker for him for dinner, but since I was home today, I wanted to save the slow cooker meal for a day we were both at work.
I decided to use up some leftover pork tenderloin for Brady’s dinner because I wanted to try a new Gardein product I got. I will post my review in a minute!
Kind of an ugly dinner. I didn’t really eat any of the Gardein Tuscan breast – check out my review for why – but the potatoes and salad and asparagus were good! Then I had a few (like 10) handfuls of Heath bar bits that I am using in a recipe tomorrow (if there are any left…)
Tomorrow = Two- hour delay! You know you are spoiled when you are pissed you only got a delay and not the whole day off again! 🙂
