Here is how the racetrack cake came to be:
Brady: Hey Ali, can you make a treat for me to take to work tomorrow, it’s Sara’s (his boss) birthday?
Ali: Sure! What are you thinking brownies, sugar cookie bars?
Brady: No, I need you to make a racetrack cake.
Ali: Wait, what? Did you just say a racetrack cake?
Brady: Yeah, you can make that tonight right?
Of course babe! Anything for you! 🙂 So I looked up some ideas and whipped it up! I guess this will come in handy when we have birthday parties to plan!
