A huge thank you to Progresso for sending me a box of treats!!
Tons of great cooking utensils, a recipe card box and holder, a spoon rest and some 100% Natural Chicken Broth! This will be perfect to use in all of the holiday cooking coming up!
Speaking of holiday cooking…We have a contest!
Please leave a comment or email me your favorite holiday idea, tip or recipe! All entries/comments are due by Sunday, November 30th. Progresso is giving away three gift baskets to our winners!! I can’t wait to read them! 🙂
We had a fun dinner tonight with Brady’s parents. his sister (who is home from her first semester of college) and one of her close friends!
And for tonight’s meal: Taco Bar complete with ground turkey and taco seasoned lentils (a great “meaty” taco filling!)
Some highlights:
your taco bar looks amazing! lots of choices 🙂
So fun!!!
Have a safe trip!!
What a fabulous taco bar! Looks delish! I love the idea of adding lentils!!
I’ll have to start thinking of a good holiday tip …
Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
Fun contest!!
My holiday party tip is to skip the first round of drinks and talk to people and then join in on round II. You’ll be one less drink closer to a hangover and won’t feel deprived because you know one is on the way 🙂

My favorite holiday recipe is Chocolate Pumpkin Loaf: http://carrotsncake.com/2008/11/chocolate-pumpkin-loaf.html It’s a wonderful combination of autumn-y pumpkin mixed with decant chocolate. The final product is a “healthier” version of Devil’s Food Cake! 🙂
I love the taco bar idea – need to try that!
My favorite holiday tip is to keep the day active. Hiking with family or a football game are great ways to have fun, bond, and burn off some of those extra calories.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
My favorite holiday idea(that is not mine and is very common probably)is using candy canes for ornaments! I think it is a very fun way to decorate the tree and there is so many colors and sizes. Plus the whole family loves them as a fat free and long lasting treat!
