For Addie’s 2nd birthday we made Cookie Monster cupcakes. They were very simple to make and lots of the work can be done ahead of time or in stages.
First, bake a batch of your favorite cupcakes. Make sure to fill the cupcake liner about 3/4 of the way full so the cupcakes rise above the paper but not all over the pan.

For Anna’s party we made flower cupcakes. They were pretty simple to make and turned out really cute!
First, make cupcakes of your choice. I made sour cream almond cupcakes. Then, frost them with your choice of frosting. Green makes a great background for flowers!
When you are ready to decorate, cut big marshmallows into “petals”. We found that it worked best to make 5 petals from each marshmallow.

It’s been a busy couple of day with Kara in town from Denver! We had a great time taking Anna walking, to lunch, shopping, wedding planning for Kara and going to dinner!

These are super simple!
1 box cake mix – prepared as cucakes (mini or regular size) 1-2 c. of sweetened, shredded coconut frosting -homemade or from a can Robin’s Eggs (whoppers Easter candy) Make cupcakes as directed and let cool. Frost with frosting and dip into a plate of coconut. Use a small amount of frosting on the edge of the egg to make it stick to the “nest” Share with friends!

These adorable cupcakes are super simple to make!
Bake cupcakes as directed. Let the cupcake cool and frost them in the colors of your choice. Stick gum drops with sucker sticks and tie a bow on the top! With a sharp knife, cut a little slit in the cupcake wrapper and insert the sucker stick! Enjoy!
