Our growing family
After the guests left and the photo shoot was over there was some extreme pool sports that took place. The boys started with b-ball and then moved to 500 and then volleyball. They were pretty intense and many of them ended up with huge brush burns and bruises.
The girls watched from afar!
And Anna hung out in the shade with Gram!
When the pool sports were done, they took a break with some corn hole.
Then it was back to the pool!
Addie kept herself busy and smiling with all of the fun toys.
And we ended the night in the hot tub! The weekend was perfect! We had such a great time at everything!
The next morning (which was Monday) we got up and went to my cousin’s daughter Reagan’s baptism in a park on the water in Winter Park! My camera had died though so there are no pictures….
Coming up.. recipes for Watergate Salad and Snickers Brownies. Attempts will be made to lighten these up in the near future!
This weekend: This weekend is another crazy busy weekend. Each year we will fill our Memorial Day weekend with parties and traditions at my parents house in Cleveland. The plan:
Friday night: Party/Couples shower for Kara and Adam at my parents house. Lots of pictures and recipes to come!
Saturday: Head to Chautauqua for Dock Day! Putting in the dock and cooking out at the lake.
Saturday night: Come back to Chagrin
Sunday: Run the Annual Blossum Time 5 mile Run (since I am not released for running until Tuesday, this will be more of a run/walk for Anna and I)
Sunday Afternoon – parade and rib sauce preparation
Sunday Evening: Rib Cook-Off ( a few families get together and do this every year)
Baby Anna is absolutely precious! Can I also add how awesome you look btw? I am very curious to know how you feel about your body now vs prepregnancy and vs pregnancy. Especially how much you think working out during your pregnancy helped with the dreaded 3rd trimester. Also do you feel like your stamina is close to what it was before when taking walks? My son is 12 weeks old. I was on bedrest for almost the entire 3rd trimester and I am STILL trying to get back to ‘normal’ My stamina is so low, my exercise right now is literally just 20 minutes a day walking on a treadmill! I am really not sure if that even counts as exercise…. lol
Love your blog!
All the food looks delish!! I think I would have headed straight for the shrimp–yum!
