Our weekend ended productively (I’ll post pictures soon)!  My parents were here for the weekend and we got a lot done!  Curtains were made, a closet was totally redone for Baby H, the laundry room  has been reorganized and fixed up and our under sink drip has been fixed!  Yay! I love when my parents come down.

We also had time for fun.  We had a lazy Saturday morning then got around to doing things.  After some of our list was done we went to they gym.  My mom and I did about 45 minutes of cardio and then some weights while Brady and my dad played raquetball for over an hour.  After our workout we came home got ready for dinner.

Brady’s parents came over and we had a happy hour before heading to our favorite: Northstar! My mom was dying to try my favorite veggie burger (made with beets, black beans and brown rice).  She loved it – I knew she would!  It worked out great because everyone at the table got something different and I got a bite of each!  Yum!  Still glad I get the same thing every time. 🙂

After our delicious dinner, we came home and jumped on the couch.  We watched half of one of my favorite movies: Father of the Bride II.  Then we crashed.

Sunday morning we had breakfast burritos before finishing our projects.  Before we knew it – it was time for lunch.

I whipped up a quick meal of pasta, roasted veggies my mom brought down and shrimp.  Our shrimp have to be super firm.  So in order to get them how we like them, we cooked already cooked shrimp then we stir fry them with seasoning.  This ensures they are not flimsy at all.

Here is a quick look at our super simple lunch:

After that, my parents headed back home and I went to workout.  Brady finished the baby closet and then we got ready for John and Ashley to come over for the Super Bowl!
