These cookies are wonderful. If you are like me, you eat a whole bowl of dough before baking a single cookie. These cookies are great because you can dig into the dough or the cookies and not feel bad about it! I was googleing healthy cookie recipes and was seeing a lot of the same thing…whole wheat and applesauce but I wanted something different. Those are both great ingredients but sort of same old. I found a recipe like this on AllRecipes.com.

Healthy “Whatever goes” Cookies

  • 3 or 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 2 c. rolled oats
  • anything else you want:  mini choc. chips (I used in this recipe), peanut butter, toffee chips, nuts, raisins, cinnamon, etc.

Mix all together and ta-daa!  That is it.  You can bake or microwave these for a oatmealish cake consistency or eat the dough without feeling bad because it is literally bananas and oats.  The good thing is they don’t have a banana flavor- like oatmeal with banana.  Try them and add the things you like, I am hooked!!
