This weekend Brady and I were looking into checking out a Crossfit gym to try out and we decided to start trying some of the Crossfit style workouts at home.
We did this short but intense workout on Saturday. It took us a little under 12 minutes and brought us both to fatigue. It was fun to see what was easier for me and for him.
He had less of a problem with the sit-ups than I did but I kicked his butt during the squats.
Try it when you are short on time, space or desire for a long workout. It will get your heart pumping and your muscles burning.
50’s
Do 50 of each exercise and time yourself completing the whole circuit.
- 50 sit-ups
- 50 double unders (double jumps with 1 swing of the jump rope – or quick jumps)
- 50 sit-ups
- 50 burpees
- 50 crunches
- 50 lunges on each leg
- 50 sit-ups
- 50 squats
- 50 sit-ups

50 burpees sounds insane! Did you take breathers or push through? I’m going to have to give that a try, I’ll be surprised it I can make it through more than 15 or 20.
Take breaks when you need them and then keep pushing through. It will kick your butt. It’s a great goal workout – each time you do it, record or think about how many you could do without stopping and the next time, try and increase that number! Let me know how it goes!
