Things have been busy and I feel like I have not been posting enough “life” posts about what is going on. I love keeping people connected and having the blog as a “scrapbook” of our life. I have been totally failing at that lately so I getting into a routine of a weekly iphone update to keep you updated! So let’s do it!
Meeting Baby Mackey
Kara and Adam’s little peanut, Mackey, is doing great and we have had such a great time with him already! He is so adorable, with sweet blond hair and blue eyes. Anna is in love!
“Our Baby” as we call he/she is growing quickly
25 weeks. The size of an eggplant and over 13 inches long.
So far we don’t have names for either a boy or a girl but we are working on setting up the nursery.
I am still teaching all of my classes (this pic is after a sweaty 60 minutes of spinning at 6am) but I am going to start slowing down in about a month.
Overall feeling really good!
Nesting is in full force
We have been totally into many house projects. Nothing too major but hanging pictures, installing closet organization systems, cleaning out stuff we don’t need are a few from the week!
While I am not convinced, after 1 game, that soccer is going to be her sport, her first season is under way. The first game was last Saturday in pouring rain and 38* temps. We not only got soaked, but we froze as well. I didn’t realize how hardcore toddler soccer really was and Anna was not a fan of the conditions. After about 5 minutes of playing, she was ready to go to lunch.
Next game is this Saturday, we shall see how it goes!
Kenston’s Play Blue Event
Sunday, April 14th, was the second annual Play Blue in Motion event! If you haven’t heard about it, Play Blue in Motion is a Fitness & Wellness Expo held at the high school that is free and open to all. Come to the school from 1-4 pm this Sunday to partake in all the fun activities provided. While you’re here be sure to check out the sport clinics, fitness/nutrition vendors, raffle prizes, yoga, spin classes, martial arts, Future Chef’s competition, and our guest speaker Zoltan Mesko – Punter for the New England Patriots. Participation is strongly encouraged so wear clothes you can work out in.
Girls Trip to IKEA
On Tuesday, Anna, my aunt Sharon, my mom and I went to IKEA in Pittsburgh. It was a long day of shopping, thinking and buying! We found some great things!
And some ice cream.
What is new with your family lately?
