Some mornings it’s easiest to prepare oatmeal for breakfast, sometimes it’s easier to make toast and sometimes it’s worth it to spend a minute and make some french toast.

When I received a package of Stonefire Naan the other day, I was excited to use it to create some recipes! Today’s recipe was french toast. It was super simple to make and the Naan made the french toast so light and fluffy while still having a great chew! The egg easily went into the layers of bread to give it a thick feeling. It also went great with the sweetness of the syrup.

Naan French Toast

  • 2 pieces of Naan, I used two large pieces of Stonefire, cut into 6 pieces
  • 2 eggs or 1 egg and 3 egg whites
  • 2 T. milk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. real vanilla
  • 1 T. butter
  • syrup, bananas and nut butters for toppings

  1. Mix the egg, cinnamon, vanilla, and milk in a small bow.
  2. Dip each piece of bread into the egg mixture.
  3. Meanwhile, heat a frying pan with butter.
  4. Place the eggy bread onto a hot pan and let it cook until the egg is cooked and the bread starts to brown.
  5. Make sure to flip the bread at least once.
  6. Serve warm with syrup and bananas.

Or cut it into small pieces and feed it to your bebe with some sliced banana and a sippy cup of organic whole milk. She/he will love it!
