What day is it? We are having so much fun with Anna that we don’t really know what is going on. Yesterday (Friday, I think) we came home from the hospital. It was so much fun to think we got to take Anna home and now we get to keep her, forever!
When we got home we were welcomed with signs and balloons! My mom was at our house and had done a ton to get things ready and sparkly clean for our arrival. We walked into the house to find new outfits hanging on the mantle, a moses basket set up for down stairs, fruit and veggies on the counter and a fridge full of treats – to name a few things! We gave Anna a tour and got into eating delicious and huge sandwiches – mine veggie and Brady’s monster sub you see pictured above.
It was such an amazing welcome home surprise! Thank you so much Mom! We continued to have a relaxing day that involved lots of holding and kissing our newest family member. Just before dinner we had visitors and my dad came down and Brady’s parents came over. We ate a delicious dinner before calling it a night!
Glad you are having fun with your new bundle of joy! I know what you mean about not knowing what day it is! Get lots of rest–when you can!
Congratulations! She is so precious and tiny, and so VERY gorgeous (like her mama). I hope you are recovering well and have lots and lots of help. Big hugs to you and your adorable new family!
Aw, beautiful! So nice for your Mom to do that for you guys! She is so tiny and cute! Enjoy these moments!!
Looks like such a busy but amazing time! Your very lucky to have your mom do all that for you–I bet it helped out a lot.
Aww Ali – she is just the sweetest, and you guys look too happy! (love the picture of Brady in the car, he is totally a proud new dad!) 🙂
Congrats again and what a wonderful way to be welcomed home!
