Despite the balmy 58 degrees in Cleveland on Dec. 22, it’s feeling more like Christmas. Yesterday was filled with holiday parties. The parties kicked off with a cooking baking party at my house in the afternoon, then after a quick bite of homemade pizza, we headed to the neighborhood caroling party last night. We cut out early (around 9pm) to go to Cindy and Tom’s and meet my brother who had just flown in from San Fran.

How’s your week before Christmas going? Ours started this morning with my interval class. Then to have lunch with Addie + Emmie before coming home to cook all afternoon. De-LUXE Salad

On Saturday when we went to Luxe, a fun restaurant near the shoreway on the West Side. While there, I ordered a salad that I couldn’t stop thinking about. It’s not too often I meet a salad combo I haven’t tried so I was excited about this.

Roasted Squash Salad

So far we are having a great time in San Francisco. Last night we went down to Fisherman’s Warf and Pier 39 to show Anna the sea lions. She a little more scared than excited by their loud, intimidating barks. We had a great seafood dinner and came home to crash.

Berkley Bowl

We got to Kevin and Lindsey’s place yesterday afternoon and my mom, Anna and I began exploring.
