Friday night we had about 70 people over to my parents house for Kara and Adam’s Shower! It was such a wonderful night full of fun, food and friends! The appetizers were amazing! On one of the outdoor tables we had some snacks. Water Red Sangria (I missed the picture of the white) Crab dip Beer and Cheese Dip Hummus with Pita Cheese Boreg Spicy Marinated Shrimp Baked Gouda on the Fresh 
I am all about the salad recipes lately. I am trying to expand my salad recipe file before summer so I have some new options for quick healthy meals and entertaining when the baby is here! Here is a great recipe from my shower. I thought about making it for dinner tonight, but I didn’t have the candied walnuts and I wanted to wait until I got them to make the salad. I settled on eggs and toast and broccoli 
Saturday was my first baby shower! My girlfriend Jen threw the shower for me and it was so nice! We had delicious food, great company, adorable gifts and so many fun treats! Her menu was perfect for a early spring lunch, and it couldn’t have been presented better! Jen is my go to girl when it comes to hostessing. Classic Egg Salad sandwiches on sweet rolls. One of my best friends, Jen, is due with her first baby at the end of November, so we had to celebrate!
