Cucumber Sandwiches/Olive Tampenade Pinwheels Recipes

Cucumber Sandwiches

  

Cucumber Sandwiches

sliced cucumber small party bread – we used rye and pump. 1 block fat free cream cheese 1 block reduced fat cream cheese 1 packet of ranch seasoning mix salt and pepper

Slice cucumbers into thin slices. Mix both blocks of cream cheese with ranch packet until seasoned completely. Spread cream cheese mixture onto bread and cover with cucumber.

Olive Tampenade Pinwheels

1 can of black olives 1 jar of green olives 1/2 c. walnuts

Super Summer Saturday

Good start…Not so good finish

I had a great and  healthy start to my day.  I decided to try making oatmeal with egg whites, like many people have been lately!    At first I was not sure that I liked it.  The flavor was different and the texture was too.  I kept thinking it should be sweet, but as I ate it more, I really enjoyed it!

I mixed:

- 1/2 oats

- water

- 2 egg whites

- 1/2 laughing cow light

- salt

Long Run and Turkey Sanwiches

This morning we woke up and watched the Olympics for a little to get motivated for our run. Around 10am, we headed out into the 68* sunshine. I was thinking we would just do 2-3 easy miles and then head back for breakfast. We started running and just didn’t think to turn around until we were a good 3 miles from home.
