Happy First Real Day of the new year! Today seemed like a “real day” because Brady got up early and went to work . We emailed about planning our spring vacation, not 15 minutes after he was in the office. Not only did Anna and I miss having home this morning but we also couldn’t wait until the next vacation.
After breakfasts of greek yogurt, oatmeal, almond and fruit, we headed to the gym so I could teach an

Who can believe that Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away? After a very productive 60* day, I can’t believe it. I ran outside with Kara, Brady grilled chicken for his lunch this week, we spray painted the peg board in the garage, re-arranged the basement, cleaned up the yard, hung a curtain rod and curtains, and went to family dinner. Good morning! It’s STILL raining here in beautiful central Ohio. Anna is napping and I am running around doing laundry, making dinner and getting ready for the day. We are planning on heading to the gym when she wakes up, but I thought I would post dinner, since it’s done. We are having our friends Levi and Alexis over for dinner tonight so hopefully they like it!

We ran about 5.5 miles. It was the perfect temperature! Around mile 3.5 my friend and neighbor Tracie texted us to see if we wanted to go to Starbucks!

Well, not everybody…just Annna. Hopefully you are able to get that wonderful song out of your head now. Unfortunately I am not talking about those kind of shots. I am talking about 4 mo. shots.
Little A went for her well-check yesterday. She slept so peacefully all the way to the doctor. The doctor told us she was growing great (anyone could have looked at her cheeks and known that)! After a good check up and the dreaded shots, we

Here is the recipe that I adapted from Cooking Light
Grilled Summer Pork Chops
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar, divided 1 teaspoon fresh/chopped oregano 2 teaspoons olive oil, divided 2 garlic cloves, minced boneless center-cut loin pork chops 1. Combine red wine vinegar, oregano, olive oil, and garlic in a zip-top plastic bag. Add pork to bag, and seal. Marinate for a few hours.
2. Heat grill. Cook pork until it’s no longer pink.
Serve and enjoy!
