Yesterday I had a baby shower for my neighbor Tracie who is expecting in June. She is having a baby boy, Jasper William! Our neighborhood is really close and often throws parties and showers for one another, so it is my kind of place! A few of my neighbors brought food so it wasn’t too much cooking!

This weekend flew by but we did tons of fun things! Here is a quick recap. I wanted to post my food pics and recipes but that will have to wait until tomorrow because I am in the process of finishing my final grad school paper for this course.

Today we had a baby shower for my cousin, Cindy, and her husband, Tom, who are due in the middle of June. We had a great time eating, chatting and opening all of her great gifts! Since they don’t know what they are having, we did a ducky theme. Here is the recap.

Tonight’s book club was not so much about our past book, The American Wife, and more about celebrating Jody’s baby (who will be here in May!!). We had of the party essentials, including favors, cupcakes and a healthy dinner.
