When thinking about how we were going to feed Anna, I did some research. I consulted friends and family and also different websites. I also read and used the book Feeding Baby Green, whose ideas and principals I love.
0-6 months: I nursed Anna exclusively. This was not easy at the beginning but I am glad I stuck with it. I used a pump to make bottles for Brady or others to feed Anna, as well. If you have

I have recently gotten a few questions about what Anna is eating now so I thought I would show her plate from dinner last night. Last night I made grilled cheese sandwiches on a super seedy multigrain bread from La Brea (Costco), Trader Joe’s Organic Tomato Soup and kale chips. My freezer is full of baby food I have made in the past few weeks! Here is a simple recipe for pears:
organic pears Wash pears and remove any spots you see. (I didn’t take off the skin because it doesn’t hurt the baby and is easily digestible and full of good nutrients) Cut them into pieces and discard the core and stems. Place pear pieces into a pot with an inch of water Simmer until pears are soft.

I can hardly believe that Anna is already 3 months old.
She went from this (a picture we took at the hospital…)
To this in NO time!
There are already clothes we have grown out of. (I realize that I said we when really I meant she. I now understand why moms do that. I feel like I have grown out of her newborn clothes too, right along with her. ) There are new toys we are now
