Perfect Protein Bars
3 very ripe bananas 2 tbsp. Naturally More (flax + peanut butter, lower in fat and calories and with Omega 3s) 3 scoops EAS vanilla protein powder 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. rolled oats 1/2 c. oat bran
optional (I will add these in the future): mini choc. chips, dried fruit, nuts, applesauce, hot choc. mix.

After my filling (and ugly) breakfast, Brady and I went to the outlets to update his work clothes and see what we were missing. We were very successful! On the way home, it was around 2pm, we both got hungry for lunch. We debated whether or not we should stop for something but came home because we have tons of leftovers from the weekend!

We just got back from an amazing weekend full of friends, fun and food (also drinking )! It was so relaxing to be boating and hanging out at the lake. I was pretty impressed with how healthy we were (minus the drinking), but then Ashley and I were in running things. I’ll give an update of the highlights.
Friday night we had planned a great dinner of grilled chicken, quinoa, veggies, and more. We arrived at the lake around 9pm

Healthy Homemade Granola
almonds cashews pistachios wheat germ oat bran steel cut oats (uncooked) rolled oats pumpkin granola cereal good friends cereal flax and fiber cereal ground flax seed bran flakes 1/2 vanilla protein powder dried fruit: cherries, raisins, craisins
Mix all of that around then add the wet ingredients:
lite maple syrup unsweetened applesauce vanilla
Add just enough that some if it is sticking together but it’s not a dough ball of fibery goodness.
Bake at 325 for

It was another beautiful day out today so we obviously used the grill! One of our favorite meals of all time is a variation of fish tacos. We started making these about a year ago after Brady went to San Diego and fell in love, with fish tacos that is . He had had them both fried and grilled and so he was up for trying to make either. I packed a leftover turkey burger, grilled onion, lettuce, tomato and fruit for lunch. As you can see I enjoyed it in my classroom on my welcome poster. I was full from the turkey burger so I skipped the fruit.
