Healthy Oatmeal Muffins

Not sure where the days are going but they are flying. Yesterday I was up at 4: 30 am to teach my morning class and things never slowed down. We squeezed lots of playing in, some cooking, some training, some house stuff and even a trip to Target which resulted in a stop in Marshall’s and Kohls.

By the time Anna and I pulled in the driveway at 8:15, we were beat. Brady had just gotten home from a busy

Lately, I have been working hard on coming up with some portable breakfasts for on-the go meals.

The criteria:

Protein Pancakes

I joined the protein pancake party that Gina and Janetha and a lot of others have been having lately! I am just starting my efforts of getting back into shape after Anna was born three weeks ago today! It’s hard to remember a time when she wasn’t here, I can’t believe it has only been three weeks.

I am not supposed to run for 6 weeks (only 3 more to go!) which seems like forever! I am allowed to walk

Lower Sugar Homemade Strawberry Jam

DSC02137

When my mom was here on Wednesday we made two batches of strawberry jam.  Homemade strawberry jam is one of our family’s favorite foods.  We go through tons of it, especially on weekends we get together.  So in preparation for Baby H’s arrival and a stream of visitors, we had to stock up.

Step 1:  Buy lots of delicious fresh strawberries (we usually make tons of jelly after we go strawberry picking in the summer).  Wash the berries and trim
