Last weekend we had a quick and whirlwind trip to Columbus.  We left around 8:30 Saturday morning, right after Brady walked in the door from taking the red-eye back from California.  We spent time at Brady’s family, went to the Zoo lights (only to be rained out), went out with friends Saturday night, went to church Sunday morning, saw our friends Levi + Alexis’ new house and had a cookie decorating party for Anna at Hadley’s house.  It was a blast to get to see so many people we love and miss but it was a quick-paced weekend!

The cookie decorating party that Jen and Hadley hosted was adorable.  There were four 2 year olds and tons of cookies, sprinkles and frosting!  She had a healthy lunch of salad, tomato soup + grilled cheese that everyone loved.  Each little girl got a little oven mitt to take home with a mitten cookie cutter. I was really impressed with how well the girls did with frosting and decorating.  They really got the idea of it.
