John + Ashley’s Wedding Weekend Recaps:
Where did we leave off…
After just a little bit of sleep, we met in the lobby before 9am to head to our hair appointments.
It was hard to believe that the big day was finally here.
Being the foodies that we are, we brought a bunch of breakfast goodies. Jackie came through for us with Chobani, Heart to Heart, fruit, bananas, nuts and of course, champagne.
The yogurt parfaits were to perfect to eat while being pampered.
The salon, Studio Fovero (in German Villiage) was wonderful. They were so friendly, accommodating and excited for Ashley (and us!). They did a great job with everyone’s hair and make-up and made a comfortable and relaxed environment to spend the morning.
After hair and make-up, we went back to the Renaissance to get dressed and ready for pictures. Ashley’s dress was absolutely gorgeous. We all admired it hanging on the “Mrs. Chambers” hanger before she put it on.
When we were all ready, we headed to the Statehouse for pictures.
I couldn’t even begin to take pictures after a quick glance at the photographers shots. The pictures he showed us were so beautiful, I put down my camera and enjoyed the moment, leaving the photos up to the professional! 🙂
Just before 3pm, we headed across the street to the church for the ceremony.
Everything went perfectly and after 27 minutes, Ashley and John were officially husband + wife.
To Ohio Stadium (at Ohio State) we went before the reception!
