What are your go-to meals? Are there a few things that you always make when you know you or your family is really busy? Are there certain semi-homemade dishes you put together with a favorite sauce or frozen veggie?

Tuesday nights are always busy at our house. I teach a 6:15 spinning class and leave the house about 30 minutes before then. We usually take Anna to my parents or Brady’s grandma’s until he gets home from work. Then I get home and we do the bedtime routine with Anna, who has already eaten. By the time we get to eat dinner it’s at least 8:30pm sometimes 9:00pm.

Here are a few Tuesday night meals I like to make. Most of them can be made or at least prepped early in the day so we can just re-heat and eat when it’s our turn to sit down for dinner.  For more information you it may pay off to  at online classes in cooking or nutrition, to ultimately save time and money.

If you ever get in a pinch, cook up a whole grain and toss on your favorite sauce with some canned black beans, a scrambled eggs, or some grilled chicken and your favorite frozen veggie (broccoli and green beans).
