Anna and Addie were in charge of making dessert for our dinner last night. They worked hard on making cookies.

Addie was in charge of handling the cookie sheets because she is older. Anna was simply her sous chef! 🙂

While were busy in the kitchen, so were we. Cindy had a great idea to add raspberry preserves to the apple brie bites I made a few weeks ago. Here is the original recipe.

They were amazing! Better than before!

  • 2 boxes phyllo tart shells (freezer section)
  • 1 apple, chopped with the food chopper
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 T. brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup raspberry preserves
  • 1 med. piece of brie
  1. Chop the apple and walnuts very fine.
  2. Mix nuts, apple, preserves and brown sugar together.
  3. Cut brie into small pieces and place 1 piece in each tart.
  4. Top brie with mixture.
  5. Bake 4-6 minutes until brie is melty.
  6. Serve with a glass of Reisling

What do you like to top your brie with?
