Guess how many bags it took us to get out of the house this morning? If you guessed 5, you are correct.
There are 4 bags plus 1 baby in the picture and I had already taken one to the car. I had my gym bag for teaching Trim and Tone(cds, waterbottle), my diaper bag, my bag with clothes/shower things, my purse and another bag for my cousin Elizabeth who was babysitting Anna this morning at her place.
With all of our luggage, we headed to Elizabeth’s for Anna’s first play date with her Aunt EB. They hung out together while I taught my Trim and Tone class. Then we headed to play date number 2! Micca and her two girls (Reese and Ryan), Jen and Hadley and I went to Kate’s to play with her Ellee and Drew.
The “older” girls (2 and 3 yrs. old)
We had a big lunch spread of grill cheese bar, salad, fruit, goldfish, back beans, sweet potato cookies and more!
Then we got back to playing…
After everyone was sufficiently tired out, we headed home. Anna slept while I made turkey and lentil tacos for dinner tonight. We dropped dinner off at our friends on our way to our third play date of the day!!
Mia and Tamara greeted us at the door with a surprise for Anna – a ride to their door in Mia’s new car!
Best transportation ever.
The fun continued when we played with instruments and read stories!
By the end of the day, we both were exhausted. New recipes tomorrow! Night!
Oh my! We had 3 playdates in 3 days and I thought that was a lot! You are very organized packing up so much for the day :). Looks like a lot of fun.
so cute!!!!! what a fun day 🙂
I seriously can’t believe how big Anna is getting! And I really didn’t think it was possible for her to get cuter, but I swear she does! By the day! 🙂 I need to see you guys soon! I miss you (sorry I haven’t responded to your email yet!) – it’s been too long!
3 playdates!!! WOW! Now that is impressive. If I do one in a day I’m pooped! What’s your secret?
