After reading Mama Pea’s post about her new and improved nurtigrain bars, I had to make them ASAP. I had the 8 ingredients on hand, so it was easy!
Mama Pea’s Berry Bars
Makes 12-16 bars
1 1/2 c. whole wheat pastry flour (I used whole wheat) 2 1/2 c. oats 2 t. baking powder 1/2 t. salt 1/4 c. organic sugar 1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce 1/4 c. vegan margarine (i.e. Earth Balance), melted ( I used butter) One 10
