We had a fun day yesterday at Wittenberg hanging out and eating our favorite subs from college at Janelle’s house (Brady’s sister- a junior at Witt) before heading to Chels’ wedding.
Emily and Claudia and I went to the wedding at Weaver Chapel and Brady stayed with Anna and Janelle because we didn’t want to bring her to the ceremony. It was a good choice and worked out for everyone – she got to stay home and be cooler and cry if she needed to without causing me an anxiety attack that she would mess up the wedding.
Despite the sweat that was running down our legs, the ceremony was really nice and Chelsea looked beautiful! After it, we headed back to Janelle’s where I fed Anna and we went to the reception at Springfield Country Club.
It was the perfect night for a wedding! The sun was shining over the golf course and it had cooled down to a comfortable temperature. We found our seats at the “cool table” as we named it with these fun people:
EmSay (her name was Emily Saylor) as we called her in college and her husband Kent
Ryan and Jake, husband and fiance to Ashley and Danielle who were both in the wedding
Em (one of my bffs 🙂 and Claudia (my roommate from after college who I miss!)
Bridesmaids – Ashley and Danielle
Us:
and Anna Banana, who was very well behaved throughout the whole reception! This will be her last wedding for a while since she is getting to the end of her newborn baby stage. We don’t have another wedding until October ( we have 4 in October) and by then she will need to stay home with the babysitter.
