Yay for President’s day off!  Brady and I had a great day off today.  We started the morning with breakfast before heading to a pediatrician interview.  We met with a great doctor and left with a good feeling about him.  This was the second pediatrician interview we have done in the past week.

After the meeting, we came home to relax and make a plan for the rest of the day.  Brady got started on our to do list of laundry, unloading the dishwasher and folding clothes.  I headed to the gym for some step mill, elliptical and treadmill action.  I had a new Fit Pregnancy so the 55 minutes went fast!  On my way home, I stopped at the store for some essentials and a few extras.  I came out of the store to a huge snow storm!  The snow started falling and never stopped all day.

I came home, we unpacked the car, and ate a quick lunch – I had a veggie sandwich and Brady had a turkey sandwich.  He took a picture of his because it was so huge and layered so I will post a pic soon!

Then we headed off to our other pediatrician interview.  We were not impressed with this doctor and left feeling confident with our decision to go with another doc.  On the way home, despite the snow and horrible roads, we stopped at UDF for some frozen yogurt.  The lady working the ice cream counter was busy when we got there and so we had to wait for about 5 minutes.  She felt so bad for making us wait she gave Brady about 10 Reeses worth of candy.  I got a twist – it was amazing.

We made it home safely and were excited to catch up on The Wire.  Before we knew it, it was getting late and Brady went outside to shovel our driveway.  I made dinner.  It was a classic meal, but very delicious.

I think it speaks for itself.

Salmon – broiled for 20 minutes with spicy soy marinade

Green beans – frozen Trader Joe’s, cooked in a pan with a little cooking spray

Whole wheat cous cous

Done and done!
