Ups and Downs

This weekend was an emotional one. It started with dinner for our friends from college at our house on Friday. That turned into a collegesque party at another one of our friends houses. I was the faithful DD.

Then we woke up on Saturday and headed to Wittenberg for homecoming. Brady played in the alumni soccer game and managed to crack his head against one of his best friend’s heads and have to leave the game gushing blood from the

Pumpkin Butter Salmon – To Die For!

If you didn’t see my exciting news that I have been dying to share, you can see it here: April Plans!

We made it through though!

After school I went to the gym and did a quick workout: 25 minutes of intervals on the stepmill followed

Simple Curry Simmer

I am finally getting over the pain that I feel when I walk down the stairs. Nothing else was really that sore, but for some reason my quads were super sore when I walked down the stairs all day yesterday. I guess not running for a week and then running 13 miles will do that do you. I am planning on posting the race recap very soon! Sorry for the wait.

Today was such a nice day in Columbus –

Sunday Night Dinner

I will have the race recap back up this week! But until then, we had some delicious Sunday dinner food last night. After lunch, we asked the boys what they wanted for dinner and they both said spaghetti. This sounded like an ok suggestion (don’t worry, we would let them know if we didn’t like their suggestion) so we went with it! It seemed like a good refuel meal.

During the day, my mom and I shopped while my dad
