They're alive…

my spelt berries, that is! I have been trying to be like Abbie and a few other bloggers who have been sprouting. I didn’t know if it was going to work, but I am happy to say that it was much easier than I thought it would be! The problem I had after I made them, I didn’t know what to do with them. I decided for tonight to just add them to my dinner. It worked great! I loved their chew and the idea that they were so healthy! IMG_3874.JPG

Here is the process of my dinner…

  1. Fill bottom of my bowl with spinach and top with sprouted spelt.

2. Cover the spinach and sprouts with my veggie mixture: chickpeas, squash, zuc and broccoli. Plus more sprouts.

3. Add a Laughing Cow Light and fresh tomatoes.

Enjoy with a huge smile :)

This dinner was amazing! It reminded me of summer! I ate while I finished packing up the pretzels for Katie’s wedding. Brady was at his soccer game so he unfortunately missed out on the sprouts, until tomorrow at least! :)

A sneak peak at the pretzels….

  • WOW what a yummy looking dinner. I haven’t tried sprouting yet, but really want to. I love the chew of those berries. The pretzels looks great- nice work. I am so not creative…totally jealous. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  • Great looking sprouts! I love how easy they are to do. Mine always seem to quadruple by the day once they get going :)
