After school today it was gorgeous outside so I decided to make up for yesterday and go for a run!  To get myself going, I decided to play my run/walk phone game.    (Do you ever play games with yourself while working out?) I play this game in the afternoons when I am not really in the mood for a serious run, but want to be outside moving.  It’s a simple game where all you need is your cell phone!  You start off by running and you aren’t allowed to stop until someone calls you!  When someone calls you can stop and walk while you talk.  Then when the call is over, you have to start running again until someone else calls.  🙂  This game works pretty well because some days I will run for 45 minutes or 5 miles before anyone calls, and other days I will get a nice interval run/walk while catching up with friends and family.

I suggest you give it a try if you like chatting and running as much as I do and want to spice things up! 🙂
