This morning I wanted to eat something small because I was planning on working out around 9:30am. I debated not eating breakfast, but knew I would not make it through the workout without something good in my stomach, and breakfast at 11 didn’t sound like a good idea. I made an easy oatmeal combo by mixing the following:
- 1/4 c. dry rolled oats
- 1/2 banana sliced thin
- 1 T. wheat bran
-1 t. ground flax
- splash of water
- splash of vanilla (the good Mexican kind
)
I warmed all of it in the microwave for 1 min. Then I added a splash of sugar-free vanilla coffee creamer for sweetness, and a handful of blueberries! I am not sure what I am going to eat when blueberry season is over
!
Now, I am off to workout in a little while and keep working on my to-do lists. I am thinking it’s a pool day if it’s nice out because summer is almost over!
